Importantly, amongst a variety of public television programs such as NOVA, FRONTLINE, Masterpiece and American Experience, CRANK: Darkness on the Edge of Town was the single program included in the Health and Medicine category in the 2008 promotional “Expanding Your World” DVD sent to national educational distributors from PBS/ WGBH Home Video.
